MOBILE, Ala. — Dr. Bernard H. Eichold II, Health Officer for Mobile County, would like to share this information to the community regarding COVID-19.

“To All Legislators, Employers, and School Leaders:

“For the next two weeks, I encourage legislators, schools, and employers to accept positive home COVID-19 test results as being diagnostic of the individual having COVID-19.

“The community transmission rate is very high, and we have limited resources for additional testing.

“Thank you.”
