Eco-mmunity Day Festival

4328 Highpoint Blvd., Prichard, AL 36613 4328 Highpoint Blvd., Prichard, AL, United States

This April, MCHD’s Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program will host a week dedicated to the environmental factors that affect Mobile County. The environmental health themed week will end with an Eco-mmunity Day Festival, a celebration to raise awareness of the need to protect our community for ourselves and for future generations.

Community members are encouraged to obtain soil samples from their yards and bring them to the Festival for testing for the presence of lead and other potentially harmful substances. Several community resources and educational vendors, games and treats for the children will be available. See you there!

For questions about the event, or to become a vendor, contact Senora McCracken at smccracken@mchd.org or 251.544.2080
