Hours and services offered to change at Festival Centre
MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile County Health Department’s (MCHD) COVID-19 Response Team will adjust its operations on Monday, March 21.
Starting next week, the hours Monday through Friday will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Festival Centre (Suite 101-A) is located at the corner of Airport Boulevard and Montlimar Drive in West Mobile.
For those wishing to be vaccinated on Saturdays, they will need to visit the Keeler Memorial Building at 251 North Bayou Street in Downtown Mobile from 8 a.m. to noon in the old Urgent Care at the front of the building.
The staff at either location will offer either the Pfizer (adult or pediatric), Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. As with other MCHD vaccination events, these will follow a first-come, first-served format. No appointments will be taken.
The COVID-19 Response Team will also begin offering free rapid tests again on Monday, March 21. These will be by appointment only between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Individual appointments must be made online at this link — https://appointments.mchd.org. Each client must present proof of their appointment when they arrive at the Festival Centre.
As a reminder, anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 should stay at home and contact their healthcare provider.
