MCHD adds link to Alabama’s Community Health Opinion Survey on smartphone app

MOBILE, Ala. — The My MCHD Health Check app makes it easy for Mobile County residents to complete the Community Health Opinion Survey and make their voices heard. To make the process easier, a direct link to the survey has been placed on the front page of the Mobile County Health Department’s smartphone app called “My MCHD Health Check.”

The Mobile County Health Department app is available for download for free in the App Store and Google Play. Search “My MCHD Health Check” or visit the following link to download the app —https://apps.myocv.com/share/a65536603. The app can be used in both English and Spanish.

As part of the Alabama Department of Public Health’s State Health Assessment, residents are encouraged to share their views on the health issues and barriers affecting their communities. The survey link is available on the front page of the app, which can be downloaded free from the App Store and Google Play in English and Spanish.

“Public health starts by listening,” said Dr. Kevin Michaels, Mobile County Health Officer. “I encourage every resident to complete the Community Health Opinion Survey through the My MCHD Health Check app so their feedback can help guide priorities and strengthen healthier communities across Alabama.”

Residents can search “My MCHD Health Check” in the App Store or Google Play, or download it at this link: https://apps.myocv.com/share/a65536603.

The survey is open through June 1 at https://survey.sogolytics.com/r/LJjwdU.
