Professional Summary: Jolanda Amey is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has worked in many diverse areas including Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, and Mental Health. Growing up on a farm taught Mrs. Amey the importance of caring for her neighbors and community. She believes that it is her duty to provide care quality care and support to her community while providing a loving and judgment-free environment.

Mrs. Amey began her healthcare career at Mobile Infirmary in the float pool for two years followed by serving four years as Charge Nurse and Preceptor on the Orthopedic Unit. She then went on to serve as the primary nurse to as Spine Surgeon for five years. Mrs. Amey then went on to study and train in all life cycles to provide care in a primary setting as a Nurse Practitioner where she has been caring for those with mental health issues, occupational health needs, and families.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile; Master’s of Science in Nursing from Walden University; and currently obtaining Doctoral in Nursing Practice at Walden University.

Board Certified: Certified Family Nurse Practitioner accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and DOT certified by The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
