Your voice counts by taking Community Health Assessment
MOBILE, Ala. — The Community Health Assessment being conducted by the Mobile County Health Department will wrap up on August 24. Dr. Kevin Michaels, Health Officer for Mobile County, wishes to share this open letter titled “Your Voice Counts” with the community:
We’re nearing the end of completing our 2025 Community Health Assessment (CHA), and I want to thank those who have already taken the time to share their feedback.
This survey is more than a checklist. It’s a vital tool for understanding how we’re doing and where we can grow as a community and organization. Your honest input helps us shape a culture that supports excellence, respect, and meaningful public health services — not just in words, but in action.
If you haven’t completed the survey yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. It only takes a few minutes, but your voice makes a lasting impact. It can be found at https://redcap.link/MCHDCHA2025.
Let’s continue building a strong community we’re all proud to be part of. Thank you for your input.
Thanks,
Kevin Philip Michaels, MD, MPH, FACOEM
